OUR MISSION:

Protect, preserve and perpetuate New Orleans music and culture.

We’re working to create unique, enriching music education experiences for students and teachers, preserve the vast archival collections of Preservation Hall photos, instruments, documents and artifacts, and provide ongoing support and resources to the elder members of our musical collective.

Introducing Preservation Hall Lessons

Designed for teachers and music educators of K-12 students, Preservation Hall Lessons includes content focused on introductory and advanced techniques for the range of instruments in a traditional jazz band, stylistic tips, as well as the cultural and historical context of New Orleans music.
